Referral Network, Inc. (RNI) is a subsidiary of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. It was designed as a separate brokerage company for those real estate licensees who do not wish to actively participate in the listing of or sale of real estate.

To become a member of RNI, one must hold a current real estate license. The RNI Associate works in a referring capacity only.

Upon receipt of a real estate buyer or seller lead, the RNI Associate calls the RNI Coordinator at the toll-free number and provides the name, address, telephone number of the individual or family who requires to purchase or sell a home anywhere in North America.

The RNI Coordinator will match the prospect with a Sales Associate who is best suited to the prospect's personality and needs. The RNI Associate also has the option of referring the prospect to a sales associate of his/her choice.

Upon closing of the transaction, the RNI Associate will be compensated part of the commission. The process is simple because the RNI Associate does not participate in the listing or selling of real estate. A member's expenses are limited to the state real estate licensing fee and the low, annual RNI membership dues of $50.

RNI Associates enjoy the professional support of more than 89,000 Coldwell Banker sales associates in more than 3,200 offices throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

A full-time RNI staff is dedicated to supporting RNI associates. RNI also understands the importance of offering ongoing education programs to assist RNI associates in becoming successful. Seminars, newsletters and guidelines on obtaining and closing referrals are offered to the members.

A real estate license can be a good source of additional income. Membership in RNI offers an opportunity to earn referral commissions in an easy and convenient manner. It is also appealing as an entrée to a full time real estate career for those who are interested...its provides the opportunity to begin the process of building a customer base.
